BIOGRAPHY
ARTIST' STATEMENT
A fish tank with salt water tropical fish darting through
the the water in their rectangular confine inspired My Fish
Series paintings. I responded to the color, patterns of the
fish, the up and down as they remained suspended defying
gravity and navigating their domain.
This drama seemed well suited to exploration with paint, color,
line, shape, and space; the tools of the painter.
I painted about fourteen paintings; an introduction to work I
may return to in the future.
